Famous Indian cricketers and their bat endorsements


Cricket is above all other sports in India. There are thousands of cricket lovers in India. The country has a massive following for the game. The cricketers are appropriately paid for their efforts on the field but they also have huge endorsement deals too.


One of the biggest deals that Indian Cricketers sign is with the brand sticker they use on their bats. The top Indian cricketers and their bat endorsements include Current Indian Cricket Captain Virat Kohli who signed a deal with the popular tyre company, MRF (Madras Rubber Factory) for Rs.8 crores.


MRF has previously been associated with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Virat also earns additional crores for advertising other apparels and shoes both on and off the field. Shikhar Dhawan too signed a deal with MRF for Rs. 3 crores. Dhawan along with Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir are the top choices of the company.


Former Indian Captain MS Dhoni signed an agreement with the sports company Spartan for Rs. 6 Crores. Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle who plays for West Indies and the Australian Cricketer Michael Clarke also endorse Spartan on their bats. MS Dhoni was previously associated with sporting company Reebok.


Yuvraj Singh bagged a big deal of Rs. 4 crores from sports and apparel brand Puma. The Puma apparels which he endorses include the shoes and wristbands. Yuvi is also seen wearing new fluorescent combination Puma shoes during the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad at that time.


CEAT is one of India’s leading tyre manufacturers. It has been associated with cricket for a very long time now. In October 2015, Indian Cricketer Suresh Raina signed a 3-year deal with CEAT. He also endorses other brands too.


Indian opener Rohit Sharma gets Rs 3 Crores to wear the CEAT sticker on his bat. He signed a 3-year deal with CEAT in November 2015.


Ajinkya Rahane signed the deal for 1.5 Crores with Nike. The Nike stickers were also seen on the bats of batsmen like Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Parthiv Patel.
