The ‘Fab Five’ of Indian Cricket includes legends like Legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, and Rahul Dravid. The period known as the era of fab 5 is the most amazing period of Indian cricket.

VVS Laxman is a batsman that Australia could never forget. He performed his best against Aussies and gave a match-winning as well as series-turning performance. After the phenomenal inning against one of the best team, Australia, VVS became very very special for all the Indians.
VVS knock of 281 against Aussies in Eden Gardens in 2001 is considered as one the greatest test innings. His 281 along with Rahul Dravid's 180 turned the match. They together survive the 4th day of the test match and to everyone's surprise, India emerged as the winner.
Rahul Dravid's also most memorable inning came against Australia in 2003. He scored 233 in the first innings followed by a 72 not out in the second innings and that led India to a historic win in Adelaide Oval.
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s most memorable test inning also came against Australia in 2003–04 in Sydney when India toured Australia. He scored his career-best 241 not out off 436 balls. However, the match ended in a draw.
In early 2004, Virendra Sehwag was the only Indian to score a triple century in Test cricket. He scored 309 runs against Pakistan in the First Test in Multan and helping India to attain the highest total ever against Pakistan. In December 2016, Indian Cricketer Karun Nair scored 303 not out against England.
Though, one among the Fab Five, Sourav Ganguly’s best Innings came against Pakistan. His best inning in test cricket came against Pakistan in Bangalore when he scored 239. On 12 December 2007, he scored his maiden double century of his career during India vs Pakistan match. He scored 239 runs in the first innings of the third and final Test match of the series.
